Women in Aviation Event!

From the Women in Aviation Program Coordinator:

Good afternoon,

I am the outreach coordinator for the AOPA Chapter of Women in Aviation, located in Frederick, MD.  I would like to invite you an event that we will be hosting at the Frederick Airport (FDK) on September 23th, 2017.

On the Saturday, the Women in Aviation International will be holding a Girls in Aviation Day in conjunction with Women in Aviation International. We will be hosting girls ages 8-16 to introduce them to aviation in its many forms form general aviation aircraft, helicopters, gliders, hot air balloons, and jet aircraft. The attendees will be shown other career opportunities including weather, maintenance, technology, and engineering and how they partner in the world of aviation.

We also have a special program for Girl Scouts to receive a merit badge in aviation.

Please let me know if you would be able to attend and help us celebrate this wonderful opportunity for our community's girls.

Kindest regards,
